To the International Academic, Scientific, Sports and Martial Arts Community
The International Specialized Scientific & Philosophical Sports Studies Seminar is hereby introduced as a pioneering multidisciplinary academic, scientific, philosophical and practical framework dedicated to the comprehensive study of the human journey from the earliest experiences of survival and physical movement to modern sport, physical education and sport sciences.
The intellectual foundation of this Seminar begins with a fundamental question:
> How did human physical experience develop from survival, natural movement and adaptation into organized physical education, martial arts, sport, scientific knowledge and modern human development?
This framework does not attribute modern scientific disciplines or university institutions to prehistoric humanity. Rather, it recognizes that fundamental human experiences existed long before those experiences were formally named and studied as scientific disciplines.
Early human beings did not possess modern concepts such as sports science, biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise physiology, sports psychology, sports nutrition, sports medicine or physiotherapy. They also did not possess modern universities, academies or scientific laboratories.
Nevertheless, human beings experienced movement, physical effort, fatigue, adaptation, protection, defense, learning, cooperation, competition and the practical use of the body.
Over the course of human history, these experiences were progressively organized, transmitted, studied, taught, classified and eventually transformed into specialized fields of knowledge.

THE HUMAN JOURNEY
The Seminar therefore presents the following analytical and philosophical pathway:
Human Existence
↓
Survival & Adaptation
↓
Natural Human Movement
↓
Physical Activity
↓
Hunting, Running, Jumping, Throwing & Carrying
↓
Self-Protection & Defense
↓
Fighting & Combat
↓
Organized Combat Systems
↓
Martial Arts
↓
Martial Sports & Combat Sports
↓
Games & Competitive Sports
↓
Physical Education
↓
Olympic & Non-Olympic Sports
↓
Scientific Study of Human Movement
↓
Modern Sport Sciences
↓
Human Health, Education, Performance & Development
This sequence is presented as an integrated historical-philosophical framework for analysis, rather than as a claim that every society followed precisely the same chronological path.
—
THE FOUR DIMENSIONS OF THE SEMINAR
The Seminar integrates four principal dimensions:
1. Historical
The study of the historical development of human movement, physical activity, martial practices, games, sport and physical education.
2. Philosophical
The examination of the meaning and purpose of the body, movement, discipline, combat, competition, education, sport and human development.
3. Scientific
The integration of modern sport and human sciences, including:
Anatomy
Physiology
Exercise Physiology
Kinesiology
Biomechanics
Motor Learning
Sports Psychology
Sports Nutrition
Sports Medicine
Physiotherapy
Injury Prevention
Sports Pedagogy
Sociology of Sport
Philosophy of Sport
History of Sport
Human Movement Science
Sports Performance and related disciplines
4. Practical
The application of theoretical and scientific knowledge through physical education, training, movement practice, martial arts, combat sports, competitive sports and other appropriate practical activities.
—
MARTIAL ARTS AND COMBAT SPORTS
A distinctive component of the framework is the examination of the relationship between:
Survival → Defense → Combat → Martial Systems → Martial Arts → Combat Sports → Competitive Sport
The Seminar studies martial arts not merely as techniques of fighting, but as historical, cultural, educational, philosophical, physical and scientific phenomena.
Accordingly, the program may examine:
History of martial arts
Martial arts philosophy
Combat systems
Martial training
Combat psychology
Physical conditioning
Technical and tactical development
Rules and competition
Safety
Injury prevention
Teaching methodology
Scientific analysis of combat performance
This multidisciplinary approach is consistent with the existence of international academic research and congresses that have examined combat sports and martial arts through scientific, medical, psychological, pedagogical, philosophical, historical and sociocultural perspectives.
—
FROM SPORT TO SCIENCE
The central proposition of the Seminar is that modern sport should not be studied only as competition or physical performance.
Sport can also be examined as a multidimensional human phenomenon involving:
Body
Mind
Knowledge
Education
Health
Culture
Philosophy
Science
Society
Human Development
Thus, the Seminar seeks to establish an intellectual bridge:
> From Human Experience to Scientific Knowledge.
> From Traditional Physical Practice to Modern Sport Science.
> From Theory to Practice.
> From Physical Development to Comprehensive Human Development.

THE FOUNDER’S INTELLECTUAL VISION
The Seminar is conceptualized and founded by Philosopher Super Grandmaster King Mohammadullah Omar Iman Dost as an integrated intellectual and educational framework for examining the historical, philosophical, scientific, academic and practical dimensions of sport and human physical development.
The founder’s stated vision is to examine sport beyond the boundaries of technique, competition and physical performance, and to connect the study of the human body and movement with philosophy, science, education, health, culture, psychology, social development and human advancement.
Under this vision, sport becomes not merely an activity of competition, but a field through which humanity can study movement, discipline, knowledge, health, education, performance and development.
—
CORE PHILOSOPHICAL PRINCIPLE
FROM SURVIVAL TO KNOWLEDGE.
FROM MOVEMENT TO SCIENCE.
FROM COMBAT TO MARTIAL ARTS.
FROM PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TO SPORT.
FROM SPORT TO EDUCATION.
FROM SPORT TO SCIENCE.
FROM KNOWLEDGE TO HUMAN DEVELOPMENT.
“From Survival to Sport, From Movement to Science, and From Knowledge to Human Development.”

OFFICIAL FOUNDATIONAL STATEMENT
The International Specialized Scientific & Philosophical Sports Studies Seminar is presented as a pioneering integrated framework for the historical, philosophical, scientific, academic and practical study of human physical activity and sport—from early human experiences of survival, adaptation and movement, through defense, combat, martial systems, martial arts, combat sports, competitive sports, physical education, Olympic and non-Olympic sports, and ultimately toward modern sport sciences and comprehensive human development.
The Seminar recognizes the contributions of existing academic and scientific traditions while proposing an integrated framework that brings these dimensions together within one continuous human-centered intellectual pathway.
