Professional Combat Sports Event Manual
1. Mission Statement
Global Fight Night (GFN) is an international combat sports organization dedicated to promoting professional competition in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). GFN is committed to athlete safety, sporting integrity, fair competition, and world-class entertainment. GFN is a Member of World Sports Confederation (WSC)

SECTION A – GENERAL REGULATIONS
Article 1: Athlete Eligibility
1. All athletes must be medically cleared.
2. Athletes must submit identification and professional records.
3. Athletes must pass pre-fight medical examinations.
4. Athletes must not be under suspension by any recognized combat sports commission.
5. Athletes must sign all GFN participation agreements.
Article 2: Weight Classes
GFN adopts internationally recognized weight divisions for each combat sport discipline.
Article 3: Medical Requirements
Mandatory:
– Blood tests
– Eye examination
– Physical examination
– Medical insurance (where applicable)
– Ringside physician presence
The ringside physician has full authority to stop a contest.
Article 4: Anti-Doping Policy
GFN maintains a strict anti-doping program.
Use of banned substances may result in:
– Suspension
– Fine
– Disqualification
– Title removal
Article 5: Officials
Each contest shall include:
– Referee
– Three judges
– Timekeeper
– Ringside physician
– Event supervisor

Article 6: Bout Duration
– Standard Bout: 4–10 rounds
– Championship Bout: 12 rounds
– Round Length: 3 minutes
– Rest Period: 1 minute

Champions must defend titles within designated periods determined by GFN.

Article 24: Sportsmanship
Athletes shall:
– Respect officials
– Respect opponents
– Respect spectators
– Respect media obligations
Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties.

SECTION H – SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Article 25: Referee Authority
The referee may stop a contest at any time for safety reasons.
Article 26: Medical Suspensions
GFN Medical Committee may impose:
– 30-Day Suspension
– 60-Day Suspension
– 90-Day Suspension
– Indefinite Suspension
Based on injuries and medical recommendations.
