ASIAN SHOOTFIGHTING FEDERATION (ASF)
FOUNDING PRINCIPLES, INSTITUTIONAL CHARTER AND ORGANIZATIONAL STATEMENT

1. FOUNDING STATEMENT
The Asian Shootfighting Federation (ASF) is established as an independent continental sports organization dedicated to the development, promotion, regulation and advancement of Shootfighting throughout Asia.
The ASF was founded under the vision and leadership of:
Philosopher Super Grand Master Mohammadullah Omar Iman Dost
The founding philosophy is based upon the principles of discipline, respect, courage, integrity, education, sportsmanship, athlete development and international friendship.
The ASF shall serve as a continental institution bringing together Asian national Shootfighting organizations, clubs, academies, athletes, coaches, referees, judges and technical officials.
2. INDEPENDENT STATUS
The Asian Shootfighting Federation shall operate as an independent continental organization.
Its independence means that the ASF shall have its own:
- Constitution;
- Statutes;
- Administration;
- Executive Board;
- General Assembly;
- Continental committees;
- Financial administration;
- Membership system;
- Development programs;
- Competition programs;
- Education programs;
- Technical commissions;
- Disciplinary procedures.
The ASF shall have the authority to manage its internal continental affairs in accordance with its Constitution, applicable national and international law, and recognized principles of sports governance.
3. INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION AND AFFILIATION
Although the ASF is an independent organization, it may be formally recognized, affiliated, associated or acknowledged within the international Shootfighting structure established by:
World Shootfighting Council
World Shootfighting Federation
World Shootfighting Confederation
The relationship shall be based upon cooperation, recognition and mutual respect.
The ASF shall retain its independent continental identity while participating in the international Shootfighting movement.
4. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD SHOOTFIGHTING COUNCIL
The World Shootfighting Council (WSC) may serve as an international coordinating and advisory body for the global development of Shootfighting.
The ASF may cooperate with the WSC in:
- International technical development;
- Educational programs;
- International standards;
- Referee and judge development;
- Coaching education;
- Athlete development;
- International conferences;
- Research and historical preservation;
- Promotion of Shootfighting;
- Development of international sporting principles.
The ASF shall remain responsible for its own continental administration.
5. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD SHOOTFIGHTING FEDERATION
The World Shootfighting Federation (WSF) may recognize the ASF as the continental organization responsible for the development of Shootfighting in Asia, subject to the applicable recognition agreement and governing documents.
The ASF may therefore act as an Asian continental partner within the wider international Shootfighting system.
The ASF shall cooperate with the WSF concerning:
- World Championships;
- International rankings;
- World Cups;
- Continental representation;
- Athlete eligibility;
- Technical standards;
- Officials;
- Anti-doping;
- Medical safety;
- Athlete safeguarding;
- International development.
Recognition by the WSF shall not, by itself, eliminate the ASF’s independent organizational identity.
6. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD SHOOTFIGHTING CONFEDERATION
The World Shootfighting Confederation (WSCF) may recognize and cooperate with the ASF as an Asian continental organization.
The ASF may participate in international conferences, congresses, development programs and cooperative projects conducted under the Confederation.
The ASF shall maintain its own constitutional authority and administrative structure while respecting mutually accepted international standards.
7. THE ASIAN CONTINENTAL MISSION
The primary mission of the ASF is:
To develop, promote, regulate and unite Shootfighting throughout Asia through an independent, transparent, professional and athlete-centered continental organization.
The ASF seeks to provide Asian athletes with opportunities to train, compete, develop professionally and represent their countries in national, continental and international competitions.
8. ASIAN UNITY THROUGH SHOOTFIGHTING
Asia represents a diverse continent containing many cultures, languages, traditions and martial-arts histories.
The ASF shall respect this diversity.
The Federation shall seek to bring together athletes and organizations from:
- Central Asia;
- East Asia;
- South Asia;
- Southeast Asia;
- West Asia;
- Other Asian regions recognized under applicable international geographic and sporting standards.
