Chapter V: Global Membership Article 9: Categories of Membership Supreme Membership: Official international sports federations Strategic Membership: Continental confederations and unions Institutional Membership: International sports organizations Honorary Membership: Distinguished global sports personalities Observer Membership: Emerging and developing organizations Article 10: Conditions of Membership Membership is subject to: Full acceptance of these Statutes Commitment to universal sports ethics Institutional independence Financial transparency Respect for human rights in sport Chapter VI: Global Governance Structure Article 11: Supreme Organs of the Organization The governing bodies of WSF are: World Sports Congress Supreme Council of International Federations Global Executive Board Global Presidency Secretary General Supreme Court of Ethics and Discipline Permanent Specialized Commissions Chapter VII: World Sports Congress Article 12: Status The World Sports Congress is the highest decision-making authority of WSF. Article 13: Powers The World Sports Congress shall have the power to: Determine global strategic policies Elect the Global President Approve amendments to the Statutes Adopt international regulations and bylaws Exercise supreme oversight over all organs of the Organization Chapter VIII: Supreme Council of Federations Article 14 The Supreme Council is composed of the Presidents of member international federations and functions as the Global Parliament of Sport. Chapter IX: Presidency and Secretary General Article 15: Global President The Global President is the highest executive authority of WSF and the symbolic representative of global sports unity. Article 16: Secretary General The Secretary General is responsible for the day-to-day administration, institutional diplomacy and international coordination of the Organization. Chapter X: Commissions and Specialized Bodies Article 17: Commissions The Organization shall establish, inter alia, the following permanent commissions: Olympic Sports Commission Global Martial Arts Commission Combat Sports Commission Sports Law Commission Global Ethics Commission Sustainable Sports Development Commission Women and Youth Commission Innovation and Future of Sport Commission Chapter XI: Financial System and Transparency Article 18 All financial resources of the Organization shall be: Lawful Transparent Independently audited Institutionally autonomous Chapter XII: Ethics, Discipline and Global Justice Article 19 WSF shall establish a Supreme Sports Ethics and Disciplinary Court to adjudicate global sports violations and disputes. Chapter XIII: International Relations Article 20 The Organization may establish official cooperation with: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) The United Nations UNESCO Other global institutions Such cooperation shall not compromise the independence of WSF. Chapter XIV: Amendment and Dissolution Article 21: Amendment Amendments to these Statutes may be adopted only by a two-thirds majority vote of the World Sports Congress. Article 22: Dissolution In the event of dissolution, all assets of the Organization shall be allocated exclusively to global sports development purposes. Article 23: Final Authority These Statutes constitute the supreme governing document of World Sports Federations (WSF) and are binding and enforceable upon adoption.
