WORLD FREESTYLE FEDERATION (WFF)

PREAMBLE

The World Freestyle Federation (WFF) is established as an international, non-profit sports organization dedicated to promoting, developing, regulating, and advancing freestyle sports throughout the world. The Federation shall uphold the principles of equality, integrity, respect, fair play, excellence, and international friendship.

The Founder of the World Freestyle Federation is Philsoper Super Grandmaster King Mohammadullah Omar Iman Dost, who shall serve as the Founding President in accordance with this Statute.


ARTICLE 1

Name

The official name of the organization shall be:

World Freestyle Federation (WFF)

The Federation may also be referred to by its abbreviation WFF.


ARTICLE 2

Legal Status

The WFF shall be an independent international sports federation operating as a non-profit organization under the applicable laws of its country of registration.

The Federation shall possess legal personality and may own property, enter contracts, and undertake lawful activities necessary to fulfill its objectives.


ARTICLE 3

Headquarters

The Headquarters shall be located in a country determined by the Executive Board.

Regional, continental, and national offices may be established as required.


ARTICLE 4

Objectives

The objectives of WFF are:

  1. Promote freestyle sports worldwide.
  2. Organize international championships and tournaments.
  3. Develop rules and technical standards.
  4. Train referees, coaches, instructors, and officials.
  5. Encourage youth participation.
  6. Promote gender equality and inclusion.
  7. Support athlete welfare.
  8. Fight discrimination, violence, corruption, and doping.
  9. Encourage international friendship through sport.
  10. Cooperate with governments and sports organizations worldwide.

ARTICLE 5

Principles

The Federation shall uphold:

  • Integrity
  • Fair Play
  • Respect
  • Equality
  • Transparency
  • Good Governance
  • Human Rights
  • Sportsmanship

ARTICLE 6

Membership

Membership shall be open to:

  • National Federations
  • Continental Federations
  • Associate Members
  • Honorary Members

Each country may normally have one recognized national member federation.


ARTICLE 7

Rights of Members

Members have the right to:

  • Vote at the General Assembly.
  • Participate in competitions.
  • Submit proposals.
  • Receive official recognition.
  • Elect Federation officials.
  • Develop freestyle within their country.

ARTICLE 8

Duties of Members

Members shall:

  • Follow this Statute.
  • Respect Federation rules.
  • Pay membership fees.
  • Promote ethical conduct.
  • Protect athletes.
  • Submit annual reports.

ARTICLE 9

General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme governing body.

Its powers include:

  • Electing officers.
  • Amending the Statute.
  • Approving budgets.
  • Approving reports.
  • Admitting or suspending members.
  • Dissolving the Federation according to this Statute.

ARTICLE 10

Executive Board

The Executive Board shall consist of:

  • President
  • Secretary General
  • Treasurer
  • Vice Presidents
  • Continental Representatives
  • Athlete Representative
  • Women’s Representative

The Executive Board shall implement the decisions of the General Assembly.


ARTICLE 11

Founder and Founding President

The Founder of the World Freestyle Federation is:

Philsoper Super Grandmaster King Mohammadullah Omar Iman Dost

The Founder shall serve as the Founding President and perform the duties assigned by this Statute until the office becomes vacant according to the applicable provisions of the Federation or relevant law.

The President shall:

  • Represent WFF internationally.
  • Preside over meetings.
  • Sign official documents.
  • Appoint committees subject to Board approval where required.
  • Promote the development of freestyle worldwide.
  • Protect the interests of the Federation.

ARTICLE 12

Secretary General

The Secretary General shall:

  • Manage administration.
  • Keep official records.
  • Organize meetings.
  • Coordinate international activities.
  • Maintain membership records.

ARTICLE 13

Treasurer

The Treasurer shall:

  • Maintain financial records.
  • Prepare annual budgets.
  • Present financial reports.
  • Ensure responsible financial management.

ARTICLE 14

Committees

The Federation may establish:

  • Technical Committee
  • Referee Committee
  • Medical Committee
  • Ethics Committee
  • Women’s Committee
  • Youth Committee
  • Education Committee
  • Legal Committee
  • Marketing Committee

ARTICLE 15

Ethics

All officials and members shall:

  • Avoid corruption.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Respect athletes.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Act honestly and professionally.

ARTICLE 16

Anti-Doping

The Federation supports clean sport.

Athletes shall comply with applicable anti-doping rules adopted by the Federation and any relevant international standards where applicable.


ARTICLE 17

Competitions

The Federation may organize:

  • World Championships
  • Continental Championships
  • International Cups
  • Grand Prix Events
  • Youth Championships
  • Masters Championships

Competition rules shall be published separately.


ARTICLE 18

Finance

Income may include:

  • Membership fees
  • Sponsorship
  • Donations
  • Grants
  • Event income
  • Licensing
  • Merchandise

Annual financial statements shall be prepared.


ARTICLE 19

Official Language

The official language shall be English.

Other languages may be recognized by the Executive Board.


ARTICLE 20

Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be resolved through mediation within the Federation.

If unresolved, disputes may be referred to an independent arbitration process in accordance with applicable law and the Federation’s regulations.


ARTICLE 21

Amendments

This Statute may be amended by a two-thirds majority of the General Assembly.


ARTICLE 22

Dissolution

The Federation may only be dissolved by a three-fourths majority vote of the General Assembly.

Any remaining assets shall be transferred to another non-profit sports organization in accordance with applicable law.


ARTICLE 23

Final Provisions

This Statute enters into force upon approval by the Founding General Assembly.

All members agree to comply with this Statute and any regulations adopted under it.
