OFFICIAL LETTER OF CONFIRMATION OF THE INDEPENDENCE AND LEGAL STATUS OF THE ASIAN KICKBOXING FEDERATION
Subject: Declaration of Organizational Independence and International Recognition of the Asian Kickboxing Federation
To all National Federations, Sports Organizations, International Bodies, Competent Authorities, and Other Relevant Institutions:
The Asian Kickboxing Federation, as the highest specialized authority responsible for the development, administration, coordination, and supervision of all sectors, styles, disciplines, and activities related to the sport of kickboxing throughout Asia, is recognized as an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit international organization operating in accordance with the principles and regulations governing international sports organizations.
Possessing an independent legal personality, the Federation, within the framework of its approved Constitution, Statutes, Rules, and Regulations, assumes responsibility for directing, organizing, developing, promoting, and coordinating all kickboxing activities across the Asian continent and exercises jurisdiction over all sectors and disciplines associated with the sport.
The Asian Kickboxing Federation performs its duties, adopts its decisions, establishes its regulations, implements its strategic programs, and administers its internal affairs independently. It maintains no organizational, managerial, or executive dependency upon any external federation, organization, institution, or governing body and operates exclusively in accordance with the provisions of its Constitution and the resolutions of its duly authorized governing organs.
Furthermore, the Federation is recognized through the International Confederation of Martial Arts as an international sporting body and, within the framework of international sporting relations, enjoys the legal standing, authority, and legitimacy necessary to represent, develop, regulate, and administer kickboxing activities throughout Asia.
All members, national federations, associations, affiliated organizations, and related natural and legal persons are required to respect the independence, legal authority, and exclusive jurisdiction of the Asian Kickboxing Federation in matters falling within its scope of competence and to cooperate in furtherance of the Federation’s objectives and mission.
