OFFICIAL STATEMENT Recognition and Support of Non-Olympic Sports Issued by World Non-Olympic Sports Federation (WNOSF) In furtherance of the sustainable development of sport and in accordance with internationally recognized principles of sports governance, the World Non-Olympic Sports Federation hereby formally declares the following: WNOSF affirms its commitment to the recognition, development, and institutional support of all non-Olympic sports disciplines, including but not limited to individual, team, combat, martial arts, intellectual, technical, motorized, traditional, indigenous, and emerging sports that are not included in the official program of the Olympic Games. Such support encompasses cooperation with duly established and qualified international and national federations; facilitation of international coordination; advancement of technical and officiating standards; promotion of education and athlete welfare; and the encouragement of ethical conduct, fair play, and good governance in sport. Recognition of any sport or discipline by WNOSF shall be subject to compliance with established statutory requirements, transparent governance structures, internationally standardized regulations, multinational participation, and adherence to the principles of integrity and accountability. WNOSF operates independently from the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Authority concerning inclusion or exclusion of sports within the Olympic Games program remains exclusively within the jurisdiction of the IOC. This statement reflects the official position of WNOSF regarding its mission to promote and support non-Olympic sports worldwide and shall be implemented in accordance with the Federation’s constitution, statutes, and regulatory framework.

CONSTITUTION World Non-Olympic Sports Federation PREAMBLE We, the members of the World Non-Olympic Sports Federation (WNOSF), establish this Constitution to promote, develop, regulate, and support non-Olympic sports disciplines worldwide under principles of integrity, equality, transparency, and international cooperation. ARTICLE I – NAME, STATUS, AND LEGAL FORM The name of the organization shall be World Non-Olympic Sports Federation (WNOSF). WNOSF shall operate as an independent, non-profit, international sports federation. The Federation shall possess legal personality upon registration in accordance with applicable law. ARTICLE II – HEADQUARTERS The headquarters shall be located in a country determined by the General Assembly. Regional offices may be established by decision of the Executive Council. ARTICLE III – OBJECTIVES WNOSF shall: Promote and develop non-Olympic sports worldwide. Recognize and coordinate international federations governing non-Olympic disciplines. Encourage ethical conduct, athlete welfare, and safeguarding standards. Support education, training, and technical development. Foster peace, inclusion, and non-discrimination through sport. ARTICLE IV – SCOPE OF AUTHORITY WNOSF shall recognize sports not included in the official program of the Olympic Games. Recognition does not imply Olympic status. Authority concerning Olympic inclusion remains exclusively with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). ARTICLE V – MEMBERSHIP Section 1 – Categories International Federations Continental Federations Associate Members Honorary Members Section 2 – Eligibility Applicants must: Be legally registered; Demonstrate multinational participation; Maintain governance transparency; Comply with ethical and integrity standards. Section 3 – Admission Membership requires: Executive Council recommendation; Approval by majority vote of the General Assembly. ARTICLE VI – RIGHTS OF MEMBERS Members shall have the right to: Participate in General Assembly meetings; Vote (where applicable); Use recognition status in official communications; Propose motions and development initiatives. ARTICLE VII – DUTIES OF MEMBERS Members must: Comply with this Constitution and all regulations; Submit periodic activity and governance reports; Uphold athlete safety and anti-doping compliance; Avoid discrimination and political interference. ARTICLE VIII – GOVERNING BODIES The governing bodies of WNOSF are: General Assembly Executive Council President Secretary General Standing Committees Ethics & Disciplinary Commission ARTICLE IX – GENERAL ASSEMBLY The General Assembly is the supreme authority of WNOSF. It shall convene annually. Responsibilities include: Electing officers; Approving budgets; Amending the Constitution; Granting or revoking membership. ARTICLE X – EXECUTIVE COUNCIL The Executive Council manages affairs between General Assembly sessions. It shall consist of: President Vice Presidents Secretary General Treasurer Elected Council Members Term of office: Four (4) years. ARTICLE XI – PRESIDENT The President represents WNOSF legally and internationally. Presides over meetings and ensures execution of decisions. Elected for a renewable four-year term. ARTICLE XII – SECRETARY GENERAL Chief administrative officer. Responsible for operations, records, and communications. Appointed by the Executive Council. ARTICLE XIII – TREASURER Oversees financial management. Presents audited financial statements annually. ARTICLE XIV – COMMITTEES Standing Committees may include: Technical Committee Development Committee Ethics Committee Legal Affairs Committee Medical & Athlete Welfare Committee ARTICLE XV – ETHICS AND DISCIPLINE An independent Ethics Commission shall oversee integrity matters. Violations may result in sanctions including suspension or expulsion. Due process and right of appeal are guaranteed. ARTICLE XVI – RECOGNITION OF FEDERATIONS Recognition requires compliance with governance and technical criteria. Recognition may be suspended or revoked for non-compliance. Procedures shall be defined in regulatory statutes. ARTICLE XVII – EVENTS AND COMPETITIONS WNOSF may sanction world and continental events. Event regulations shall ensure fairness, safety, and integrity. ARTICLE XVIII – FINANCE Sources of revenue may include: Membership fees Event revenues Sponsorships Donations Grants All funds must be used solely for organizational objectives. ARTICLE XIX – AUDIT AND TRANSPARENCY Annual independent financial audit required. Financial reports shall be presented to the General Assembly. ARTICLE XX – DISPUTE RESOLUTION Disputes shall first be resolved internally. Appeals procedures shall be defined by regulation. Arbitration mechanisms may be established. ARTICLE XXI – AMENDMENTS Amendments require a two-thirds majority vote of the General Assembly. Proposed amendments must be submitted at least 60 days prior to voting. ARTICLE XXII – LANGUAGE The official working language shall be English. Additional languages may be adopted. ARTICLE XXIII – DISSOLUTION Dissolution requires a three-quarters majority vote. Remaining assets shall be transferred to a non-profit organization with similar objectives. ARTICLE XXIV – ENTRY INTO FORCE This Constitution shall enter into force upon adoption by the founding General Assembly. Adopted on this _ day of ______, 20.
