World Sports Federations Chapter I: Identity, Status and Fundamental Principles Article 1: Name and Legal Title This organization is established under the name World Sports Federations (WSF), hereinafter referred to in these Statutes as “the Organization”, and shall function as a supreme global authority within the international sports system. Article 2: International Status WSF is a global, inclusive, independent, non-profit, non-political and non-commercial organization, operating as the parent, coordinating and supporting body of all international sports federations, martial arts federations and combat sports federations worldwide. Article 3: Independence The Organization shall act independently in its decision-making, policy formulation and execution of its mission, free from influence by governments, political parties, ideological movements or commercial interests. Article 4: Scope of Coverage All sports without exception fall under the jurisdiction and support of the Organization, including but not limited to: Olympic and non-Olympic sports Traditional, indigenous and cultural sports Traditional and modern martial arts Competitive combat sports and self-defense disciplines Emerging, innovative and future-oriented sports Chapter II: Philosophy of Existence and Global Mission Article 5: Philosophy of Existence WSF recognizes sport as: A universal language of humanity A tool for sustainable peace A driver of human development A guardian of human dignity A bridge between cultures Article 6: Supreme
